NAFEM: Committed to Growth Within the Foodservice Equipment & Supplies Industry The North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) is comprised of more than 600 North American foodservice equipment and supplies manufacturers, providing products for food preparation, cooking, storage and table service. NAFEM member products account for more than 85% of the United States' total annual foodservice equipment and supplies sales, and a growing percentage of global foodservice equipment and supplies sales. NAFEM's scope of activities began to take a global focus in the 1970's, with the activation of its International Committee. In addition to conducting seminars and providing special trade pavilions for NAFEM members at industry shows worldwide, NAFEM began a close relationship with EFEDA members in 1994. This relationship has spawned joint activities beneficial to both organizations. Seminars have since taken place, both in Europe and the United States, on topics of interest to the members of both organizations, and these joint activities will continue to expand in the future.
